Fortissue is part of the Ghost Group (Suavecel, Nunex Worldwide, Fortissue), a solid group with more than 20 years of experience in the personal hygiene market. The company's main activity is the production of tissue paper from virgin pulp, in combination with other fibers, especially cotton fibers. The project began in 2015, when Fortissue produced the first tissue reel, from 100% virgin cellulose, for processing domestic and sanitary products. This reduced costs and increased the quality of raw materials, reducing dependence on third parties. In the production of tissue paper, good management of all resources is essential and, therefore, Fortissue has implemented innovative technologies that allow for optimization of energy and water consumption and 0% waste of raw materials. In 2020 it will become one of the five largest tissue paper producers in the Iberian Peninsula with the installation of the 2nd paper machine.
